Almost Saintly Socks by Lucy Neatby | Digital Pattern
An entertaining sock for the ardent sock knitter, for those in search of an interesting foot-suntan pattern, or those with naturally hot feet!
This stitch pattern sets off hand-painted yarns beautifully. The design features: Loopy edging, scallop openings (no casting-on/binding-off here), the wonderful and sturdy (and well-fitting) garter stitch short-row heel, and sole short rows. Too much fun!
This pattern features written instructions, helpful diagrams and some charts
Pictured in Celestial Merino Fiery Fuchsia(main colour) and Navy(contrast) and Celestial Merino Seashell (main) and Seathrift (contrast).
The Almost Saintly Socks are featured in my new e-book, A Little Book of BIG Holes for Hand-Knitters, along with 9 other patterns.
