The Cat Snack Blanket was designed by Lucy's daughter, Holly, for her beloved feline companion, Poseidon, who had a taste for snoozing on knitting. This is mostly a positive/negative design, with a small area within the fish that creates dissimilar sides.
This pattern includes a practice piece: The Minnow Mat features all of the techniques and fun on a smaller scale. Together, they are the Fishbone Blankets!
This pattern features written instructions and helpful charts. The original Fishbone Blanket was knit using Kauni Solids held doubled. and the Minnow Mat was knit with batch-dyed Cat's Pajamas yarn.
