Hurricane Hat by Lucy Neatby | Digital Pattern
This is a knit-to-fit hat, designed to minimize the stress of working with a limited quantity of yarn and maximize the use of every available inch.
It may be worked in any yarn weight. The double increase allows the seed stitch pattern to elegantly grow without disruption.
To eke out a limited quantity of yarn, stripes may be added and/or a contrasting brim.
The turn-over brim may be worked in a contrasting /different yarn.
The hat crown is increased until it is suitable for the head size of the future wearer. Approximate head circumferences are: Baby 15” (Toddler 17”, Child 19”, Adult 21”, Large Adult 22”)
