One of the most comfortable hats you will ever make! A Rainbow-style derivative, this is a quick and easy project for almost any yarn (instructions are given for gauges from 4 to 8 sts per inch). Ideal for small amounts of precious yarns. A soft, wool-rich yarn will be warmest and will hold its shape best.

The hat fits a wide range of head sizes and can be customized in many ways, or can be knit as a headband by omitting the crown of the hat, thus making it a great first knitting project.
